Meet our Cast
Paul Stroili is a Resident Artist at The Purple Rose Theatre in Chelsea, Michigan (founded by Jeff Daniels) His stage credits include Doll’s House Part 2, God of Carnage, Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Elusive Ear, Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Fallen Souffle, Ghosts, Wonder of the World, Confessions of a Catholic Child, A Flea in her Ear, the ACE Award-winning literary parodies A Christmas Twist and Of Grapes and Nuts, as well as Under Milkwood, and Oedipus; A Requiem. A member of the original Chicago cast of Tony ‘n Tina’s Wedding, Paul directed the critically-acclaimed revival 25 years later. Recently, Paul served as Executive Producer for the award-winning feature, WAKE. directed by Cyrus Mirakhor. As a playwright, his work includes the plays Last Call at the Aardvark, Cheese Louise (with Maureen Morley), My Dinner with Arlecchino and Plane Crazy (with Cissy Conner). His play A Jukebox for the Algonquin will enjoy its World Premiere at the Purple Rose Theatre as part of their 30th Anniversary Season in the Summer of 2021.
Kevin Theis has been an actor, writer and director in Chicago for over thirty years. His acting credits include ten shows at the Goodman Theatre, including Silvius in As You Like It, a number of productions with the Oak Park Festival Theatre, including Salieri in Amadeus, Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing, Edward in Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me (Jeff nomination) and the title role in Richard III. Kevin is an ensemble member with the Irish Theatre of Chicago, where he played Michael in Dancing at Lughnasa, Finbar in The Weir and Mr. Lockhart in The Seafarer (Jeff Award – Best Ensemble). He has also performed at the Next Theatre, Lifeline, Buffalo Theatre Ensemble and Peninsula Players, among others. As a director, Kevin has been thrice nominated for Jeff Awards, including his own adaptation and direction of Thomas Heywood’s The Fair Maid of the West, The Mandrake for greasy joan & co. and Jeeves and the Mating Season for City Lit. He has also directed for the Irish Theatre, Lifeline, Oak Park Festival and the Timber Lake Playhouse, among others
Eric Zudak (Producer) is the Sr. Director, Enterprise Accounts with the application development company Trifecta Clinical, where he directs business strategy for accounts including fortune 500 as well as smaller focused Pharmaceutical companies. Prior to Trifecta, Eric worked at Walt Disney Imagineering supporting attraction development for Tokyo Disney Seas, California Adventure and Euro Disneyland Park. Eric also worked at ABC Television and numerous capacities for independent productions and events. Eric holds a BFA in Theatre from the University of Evansville. His career with Trifecta has spanned the past 16 years, his background in the arts has informed his approach to problem solving and relationship development. Eric founded the College Town Film Festival, which produced 6 festivals in partnership with Penn State University and Ohio University between 2013 and 2017.
